The Boston Public Gardens of Boston, MA Frederick Law Olmsted-designed park, famous for its Swan Boats, has over 600 varieties of trees and an ever-changing array of flowers. It is America’s first public garden.
While the Boston Public Garden is not part of The Freedom Trail, it is worth visiting before continuing on The Trail. Highlights include The Swan Boats, Make Way for Ducklings Statues and a Statue of George Washington on his horse.
